	This started out last year as kind of a joke. We really didn't feel like riding up to the Laughlin River Run and posing with all the beautiful people. Besides, it was just too damn HOT!! So we decided to do the next best thing...Throw a PARTY!! Therefore, the Too Broke Fer Laughlin BBQ & Pool Party was officially under way.
The only slight problem we had with this theme was that we really didn't have a pool. Last year we made do with a two man (or woman) hot tub. This year we didn't even have the hot tub so we decided to install an above ground pool. As it turned out this was a brilliant idea!! No more having to go in the house and raid the fridge or dig around in an ice chest just to find your favorite libation. Just dive in the pool and you're sure to come up with your favorite flavor!!
	Joe spent the entire morning preparing the eats and worrying that no one would show up. A fear that proved very unfounded. With everything from deviled eggs to shrimp cocktail nobody went away hungry. Teri made sure that the place was presentable for our honored guests and acting as life guard to ensure that there were no accidents relating to the pool.
The guests started arriving about 3 o'clock from as far away as Kingman and even Southern California. Many thanks to Gilbert for saving the guests from asphixiation due to the BBQ being up wind of the party. We figure during the course of the afternoon and evening we had roughly 50 people in and around the best party during Laughlin weekend.
	The one thing we know for sure is this. Spending the day with family and friends is just about the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thanks to all of you who showed up and helped us and everyone else have a good time!! Joe & Teri
