The Motor City - Detroit

Ah yes, Detroit, the Motor City, Motown...

Most importantly, Michigan where Gary (Teri's brother) claims, Anybody who doesn't live in Michigan, must be a communist!! Joes advice is not to make that claim anywhere in Wyoming.

We arrived in the Detroit area, specifically St. Claire Shores on Thursday March 24th for a planned stay of a week or so. Gary had arranged for us to park our rig in his neighbors driveway which was a perfect fit we might add. We had approximately 3 feet on one side and 4 feet on the other, not much danger of the 5th Wheel blowing over without leaning against a brick wall on either side!!

Joe had never met Gary (Teri refers to him as the black sheep of the family) or his family so there was a lot of catching up to do and new faces to meet. Cathy made sure that we seldom were hungry and Joe always had a dog to play with when the mood struck him.
