| Rockport/Fullten Beach February 10th thru February 24th |

The town of Rockport was our destination after we wore out our welcome at Galveston Island State Park (you're only allowed to stay for two consecutive weeks at state parks).
Rockport is located approximately 30 miles from Corpus Christi and is half way between Galveston and South Padre. We found ourselves at Goose Island State Park during our stay in the Rockport/Fullten Beach area. Unfortunately the weather was not exactly in our favor while we were in this area. We had a few rain days and we didn't get out very much but that isn't to say that there's not a lot to do in the Rockport area. Port Aransas is located just about 30 minutes and one ferry ride away. Plenty of shops, seafood and places to explore on Mustang Island as well. |
