Lake Corpus Christi Texas

Unfortunately we had to eventually move from the Sommerville-Houston area and begin our journey west (sort of) towards Arizona. In keeping with the "Lake" theme that we seemed to have started this trip we spent a few days at Lake Texana and came to rest at Lake Corpus Christi State Park.

Lake CC is a nice enough State Park but unfortunately we'd become spoiled with large camp sites and Lake CC didn't exactly meet that requirement.

It did although have the requisite Armadillo's and surprisingly enough, "Javalina's". We were warned that these particular critters were wild and we would be ill advised to approach, molest or otherwise attempt to interact with them.

Advice we took to heart!!
